Facilities

Risebridge is based on the principles of a private family yard, where horses can relax and owners feel welcome. The facilities are geared towards providing a safe environment for both horse and rider during training and we are constantly looking to improve upon existing facilitates.

In the main stable block, we have eleven rubber matted stables, a foaling stable, an open barn and a toilet and shower block. An undercover, enclosed area complete with tie-pole is used for educating horses in groundwork.

Our paddocks are generally post and rail and those that are not are next on the hit list! Where possible, we incorporate field shelters.

The 50m x 30m all weather arena with a sand and rubber surface provides an excellent training facility and has a round-pen to the side that is accessible through the arena.

The farm has a total of 100 acres of hacking, with some small cross-country fences including water, steps and ditches. We are in the process of providing hunting gates around the farm to ease access from field to field. We currently have two polocrosse pitches that double as an excellent training ground for the horses.
